Warner Robins PD utilizing Red Speed cameras in school zones during Summer
Red Speed cameras near Northside High School will be fully operational starting June 3.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Warner Robins Police Department is reminding community members as the Summer school session begins that Red Speed cameras will be fully operational starting June 3. The cameras near Northside High School will enforce the speed limit by capturing vehicles traveling at 11 mph or more over the posted limit from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., Monday through Friday.
The Warner Robins Police Department says the initiative aims to ensure the safety of students and pedestrians in the area.
“Ensuring the safety of our students and pedestrians in school zones is a top priority,” said Chief Fisher of the Warner Robins Police Department. “The Red Speed cameras are a critical component of our efforts to create a safer environment around our schools. We urge all drivers to adhere to the speed limits and exercise caution in these areas.”
