Warner Robins Officer Arrested, On Administrative Leave

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – The Houston County Sheriff’s Office has opened an internal investigation into the Warner Robins Police Department following the arrest of an officer.

Deputies arrested Officer Andrew Hernandez after a woman arrived at Houston Medical Center with visible injuries around 1:26am November 20th.

According to a release from the Warner Robins Police Department, Hernandez was arrested in connection to this incident. He’s charged with Battery.

The incident was originally reported to WRPD and turned over to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.

Officer Hernandez was placed on Administrative Leave pending the investigation.

Hernandez has been an employee with the Warner Robins Police Department for three years, and an officer since March of this year.
