Warner Robins Middle School Closed, School Officials Say Potential Gas Leak

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Warner Robins Middle School is closed tomorrow, because of a potential gas leak.

Spokesperson for the school district Beth McLaughlin says after school activities are cancelled as well. A news release from the Houston County School System says employees are required to report to work as usual. They will meet in a safe area.

Students will likely be back in school on Tuesday. All other Houston County schools are in session in tomorrow.

Principal Brett Wallace will notify families with another telephone call as soon as possible regarding students returning to school on Tuesday.
