Warner Robins mayoral candidates give last remarks at final forum
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The city of Warner Robins is nearing election time and tonight residents got to hear from their Mayoral Candidates.
Supporters of Mayor Randy Toms, Former Public Works Director Joe Musselwhite and Councilman Chuck Shaheen heard their finals words and platforms before the vote.
Councilman Shaheen says all three candidates are more than qualified, but he’s got a unique edge.
“I have learned how to roll up your sleeves up, and work with the council–you can’t get anything done in your city without getting the council to buy into it. So, being on both sides I know how they think now. They want information they want to gather pertinent information before they make a decision,” he said.
Next Tuesday is the last day to register for the general elections. October 16th begins early voting and election day is November 7th.
