Warner Robins man sentenced to life plus 20 years after armed robbery conviction
Prosecutors said Dennard forcibly entered a home on West Imperial Circle in Warner Robins on November 22, 2021, by kicking in the front door.

HOUSTON COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 33-year-old Warner Robins man has been sentenced to life plus 20 years in prison after being convicted on multiple violent felony charges in Houston County Superior Court.
Victor Casey Dennard was found guilty October 23 after a four-day jury trial of home invasion, two counts of armed robbery, five counts of aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Prosecutors said Dennard forcibly entered a home on West Imperial Circle in Warner Robins on November 22, 2021, by kicking in the front door. During the invasion, he pointed a gun at one victim and robbed another of her car keys and vehicle.
Dennard then drove the stolen car to Robins Financial Credit Union on North Houston Road, where he carried out an armed robbery, taking cash from tellers. During the incident, he held several victims at gunpoint and shot one of the tellers in the back of the head. The victim survived and later testified at trial.
Investigators determined that on February 6, 2022, Dennard was planning another armed robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank on Watson Boulevard. Before he could carry it out, officers from the Warner Robins Police Department, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office and agents with the FBI arrested him.
Dennard was previously convicted on May 16, 2024, of malice murder, armed robbery and related charges for a separate January 2022 robbery in which he fatally shot a victim at point-blank range. He is already serving a life sentence without parole in that case.
Chief Assistant District Attorney Greg Winters released the following statement:
“In my career, I have prosecuted many violent crimes, and many of those stem from moments of anger or impulse. Victor Dennard is different. His calculated acts of violence and utter disregard for human life reveal a complete lack of remorse and a continuing danger to this or any community he is part of. I am deeply grateful for the tireless work of the Warner Robins Police Department, led by Investigator Karmen Thompson, along with the Houston County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Because of their dedication and the strong sentence imposed by Judge Nunn, our community is safer today.”
District Attorney Eric Edwards released the following statement:
“Victor Dennard is the face of evil, and his actions have torn through this community with intentional, premeditated violence. The fact that two different juries have now convicted him of separate armed robberies and shootings of innocent bystanders speaks for itself. His crimes were not spontaneous or desperate—they were deliberate acts of malice, planned and carried out with no regard for human life. I’m profoundly grateful to the Warner Robins Police Department, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, and the FBI for their exhaustive and coordinated efforts that have brought this killer to justice once again. Because of their work, Dennard will never again have the opportunity to terrorize the citizens of Houston County.
