Warner Robins man killed in single vehicle accident

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Warner Robins man died Sunday evening during a single vehicle car accident in Monroe County.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 6:21 p.m. on GA 87 near the intersection of Christian Road.

Authorities say 37-year-old Jeffery Deane was driving southbound on the the roadway in his red Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck. He then drove off the road and landed in a ditch which caused the truck to overturn.

The sheriff’s office says Deane was pulled out of the truck by the Monroe County Fire Department. He died at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation.
