Warner Robins Law Enforcement Center is Open for Business

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The long awaited new law enforcement center in Warner Robins is officially open to the public.

The LEC located at 100 Watson Boulevard across from Robins Air Force base is now open 24 hours. The project has taken almost a decade to complete. The former police station in Warner Robins was becoming too small for the growing force. The new center is 42,000 square feet and cost nearly $10 million to build.

The building was predominantly paid for using funds from the Special Purpose Local Options Sales Tax (SPLOST).

The center will house all of the law enforcement offices, public records and forensic labs. It will feature state of the art technology for interviewing and communicating throughout the facility.

Anyone with law enforcement inquiries is urged to stop by the center or call the new main number at 478-302-5378.
