WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The inaugural International City Experience in Warner Robins attracted hundreds of people to Perkins Field on Saturday.

The festival, which ran from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., celebrated the city’s diverse cultural heritage. Music filled the air, and attendees couldn’t help but move to the beat of the music.

A wide range of performances took center stage, from Latin Fusion by the Ritmo Soul Bunch to the Lion Dance by the Chien Hong School of Kung Fu.

The festival also featured dozens of vendors, providing attendees the opportunity to experience a selection of food from various cultures.

“We have kids that are growing up, and we have to teach them our culture and what our culture is about, and this helps for them to understand where they come from,” one of the vendors told 41NBC.

Mayor LaRhonda Patrick says they are already planning next year’s International City Experience.
