Warner Robins Christmas Parade Brings Holiday Cheer

WRchristmasWARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – It might not feel like December but it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Warner Robins.

For over 50 years, the annual Warner Robins Christmas parade has filled the streets with holiday cheer. Peggy Kay and her family said this weekend was no different.

“I loved it,” Kay said, “it was so much fun.”

The Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted the 55th annual parade. This year’s event featured more than a hundred local organizations, several bands and country singer Colby Dee. As the parade route continued to roll down the streets, so did the local talent. Aspiring Warner Robins rapper Beason made an appearance this year.

“I write my own music,” Beason said, “I record all my own music.”

Everyone seemed to enjoy the talent; but a lot of families came for the high school bands.

“We love the high school bands,” said Sherry Walls, “and we love the ROTC.”

This year’s parade theme was the 12 Days of Christmas.
