Warner Robins Aims to Change Candidacy Age Requirements

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The city of Warner Robins kicked off the new year by updating an out-dated charter. The proposed changed would change of the age eligibility for people running for candidacy.

Warner Robins City Council member Carolyn Robbins says if the new charter is passed, anyone running for city council would have to be at least 21 and have lived in the city for a year. The current charter only requires that you live in the city for three months to be eligible to run for council.
