Warmer weather is on the way for Middle Georgia

Good evening,
We have another chilly night on the way across Middle Georgia, but this will likely be our last night below freezing for a little while in the area.

Through the end of the week, we will see a significant warm up back into the 60’s. Expect more clouds to move in as our temperatures and moisture continue to increase.

By the weekend we will start to see increased rain chances with the possibility for heavy rain and thunderstorms on Saturday. A strong storm is not out of the question over the weekend. Rain sticks around into the start of next week, and behind it, we will once again see cooler air.

The threat for heavy rain will move in over the weekend and likely stick around through Monday evening. Rain totals from 1-2″ are possible across Middle Georgia through next Tuesday.
