Warmer temperatures, dry weather again, rainier tomorrow evening
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Warmer again today, this time with highs reaching the mid 70s. Not bad! Overnight lows continue to warm, so despite slight cooler than average temperatures this morning, the air becomes milder tomorrow morning. Tomorrow’s low will be around 49.
Tomorrow night, a cold front moves into Georgia and brings abundant rainfall and storms. Latest models show over an inch of rain with this system, and due to the mostly dry year so far and the high pollen, that’s not a bad thing! The timing is also fortunate: the arrival of this system is currently pegged late night from 10 – 11. It’ll move out by early Friday morning.
The weather won’t stay dry for long. More moisture arrives Easter Sunday and Monday, with storms possible again. The next time I expect dry weather will either be Monday afternoon or Tuesday; it’s too early to narrow it down as of now.
