Warm weather leads into Halloween before we see a risk of severe storms in Middle Georgia

Good evening,
It has been an excellent day across the southeast and we will see a few more of those as we move into the middle of the week.

High pressure keeps us dry and warm through Wednesday with highs in the mid 70’s and low 80’s. Expect plenty of sunshine and low humidity with this high pressure as well.

Halloween will have excellent weather across the area with mostly clear skies and temperatures the warmest they will be for quite a while. We will see a return of the humidity as well overnight and into Thursday.

By Thursday the potential for strong to severe storms will exist across North and Middle Georgia. Main threats will be gusty winds of 60+ mph and an isolated tornado threat. Now is the time to have multiple ways to get your warnings. We will continue to update the forecast as the front gets closer.
