Wanted fugitive arrested at Holiday Cove Apartments in Forsyth
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office found marijuana, crack cocaine, and drug related objects in the apartment.

MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office arrested a wanted fugitive at the Holiday Cove Apartments.
Edwin Harris was hiding out at the Holiday Cove Apartments and had active felony arrest warrants, according to Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Anna Watkins.
Deputies obtained a search warrant for one of the apartments and discovered marijuana, crack cocaine, and drug related objects.
The occupants of the apartment, Edwin Harris, Salisha Akins and William Littiken were taken into custody. The occupants were charged with possession of marijuana, violation of the Georgia controlled substance act and possession of drug related objects.
They are currently being held in the Monroe County Jail without bond.
