Wanted felon escapes Bibb deputy in car chase, hit multiple vehicles

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for wanted felon, 40-year-old Jermaine Houston.

According to a news release, a Bibb deputy spotted Houston in a 2014 bronze Honda civic on Mercer University Drive.

An initial routine traffic stop turned into a pursuit. During the chase Houston hit a Mid Georgia Ambulance, a SUV, and a mailbox on Christian Drive. He then exited the car and fled foot.

No one was injured in the chase.

Houston has active warrants for a previous incident, and is now wanted for attempting to flee and elude a officer, theft by receiving stolen property, reckless driving, and driving while unlicensed.
