Wanted Clown Turns Himself In to Baldwin Deputies
MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The clown accused of robbing a Milledgeville homeowner turned himself into authorities on Monday, according to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.
Cpt. Brad King says deputies arrested and charged 22-year-old Jamarcus Rashad Trawick with armed robbery and aggravated assault.
Trawick is accused of entering a mobile home off Shady Rest Court last Wednesday and attacking the homeowner with a tire iron. King says the victim told deputies the suspect’s face was painted like a clown. King tells 41NBC Trawick then ran into the kitchen and started dumping plates on the floor—that is where the victim kept his money.
King says Trawick stole $2,000. Deputies are also following leads on other suspects.
Trawick is currently in the Baldwin County jail and is being held without bond.
