Voters head to polls on Election Day in Macon-Bibb County
It's Election Day, and voters in Macon-Bibb County cast their ballots at their assigned polling precincts.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — It’s Election Day, and voters in Macon-Bibb County cast their ballots at their assigned polling precincts.
“I also feel like voting on the election day is just my commitment to my country,” Tricia Tinker said.
Tinker told 41NBC it makes her feel really good to cast her ballot, because it reflects how she thinks and believes.
John Cox said over the years he’s voted in several elections but said this one is hitting home for him.
“I’m a small business person,” he said. “And how our economy goes is important to me, how our national security, our border, our place in the world, the whole nine yards, seems to be more important now with all of the days of high tech and that kind of thing as well as who’s running the show.”
Joan Davis came to vote in-person. She said she did because of her excitement over a woman running for president.
“I hope she wins,” Davis said. “I like a lot of the things she stands for, and I do hope that she wins, but I know that God is in charge and the right person will be winning.”
