Vienna Mayor Pro-Tem Elected Georgia Municipal Association President
VIENNA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Vienna Mayor Pro-Tem is headed to the capitol to lead the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA).
Beth English was named the association’s new leader at the annual meeting in Savannah in June. She’s the third Vienna city official elected to serve as president of GMA in the organization’s history.
GMA is a non-profit state association representing municipal governments in Georgia. English was first elected in 1998, where she served on the GMA Board of Directors for several years. Since then, she’s served on several committees and task forces on GMA’s behalf.
