Victim Identified in Fatal Car Accident on I-75

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Bibb County coroner has positively idenitified a man who was killed in a car wreck on Tuesday morning. 

Thomas Allen Jones Jr.,47, has died after a traffic accident Tuesday morning. Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the traffic fatality around 11a.m. The single vehicle accident happened on Interstate 75 near Arkwright Road.

According to Lt. Sean Defoe, witnesses told deputies that a 1993 white Ford F-250 truck was traveling southbound in the right hand lane when the truck suddenly swerved to the left. The vehicle hit a concrete barrier.
