Vets remembered in Wreaths Across America

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Every holiday season, fallen veterans in Riverside Cemetery receive holiday decorations.

The Georgia Patriot Guard Riders placed wreaths on the graves Saturday.

“We are recognizing all the branches of service,” Steve Bell, the interim executive director of the cemetery, says. “You will see young people in ROTC and young marines that are looking for a future in serving our country.”

About 4,000 veterans are buried at the cemetery.
