Veterans High School teacher, coach arrested on drug distribution charges
Deputies seized two vehicles, approximately 581.7 grams (1.28 pounds) of marijuana, $4,816 in U.S. currency and three handguns during the operation.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Veterans High School teacher and football coach was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, along with numerous additional felony charges, according to the Ben Hill County Sheriff’s Office.
The Ben Hill County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 309 West Orange Street on March 1.
According to the sheriff’s office, the case began in January after investigators received information that Kierron Smith was allegedly transporting pounds of marijuana into Ben Hill County for distribution throughout the county and from the residence on West Orange Street.
Three people were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, along with numerous additional felony charges after the investigation.
