Vendors and Volunteers Prep For Perry Dogwood Festival
Volunteers and vendors spent the better part of this evening prepping for the Dogwood Festival in Perry. With an expected crowd of around 5-thousand, and only a day to get ready, those transforming Perry’s downtown have their work cut out for them.
The men of “Steaks and Cakes” unload their trailer in downtown Perry just hours before the Dogwood Festival.
“When the weather is nice everybody comes out and their happy and it’s just not the same old routine as you know, you’ve been going to the same cafe everyday,” said Ken Lightfoot.
