UPDATE: Woman Found Dead in Arson Fire

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – According to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones, a woman’s body was found inside a home at 1147 Patterson Street in Macon. Jones says the woman’s body was “completely burned beyond recognition.”  She’s been identified as 41-year old Yvonne Jackson.

The body was found on the second floor of the house in a bedroom by a closet. Jones says an autopsy will be performed on Monday to determine the exact cause of death, but it is considered a homicide case.
