UPDATE: Woman arrested for shooting boyfriend during argument

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man who was shot last week after a fight with his girlfriend is dead.

Bibb deputies say 42 year-old Lisa Mack was arguing with Jerald Corbin when she shot him in the shoulder. Corbin died around 2:00 a.m. Sunday.

An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the cause of death. Mack is charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. She’s being held in the Bibb County Jail without bond.


A Macon woman is accused of shooting her boyfriend Monday morning.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, 42-year-old Lisa Michelle Mack and her boyfriend, Jerald Corbin, were arguing about another woman when Mack shot him in the shoulder.

Mack was taken to the Bibb County jail and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Corbin was taken to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.
