UPDATE: Warner Robins officers respond to barricaded gunman inside home

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Warner Robins Police Department took a man in custody after he barricaded himself inside a home Tuesday night.

According to Public Information Officer Jennifer Parson, police responded to home near Briarcliff Road and Channing Trail around 8 p.m. Officers say there was a barricaded gunman inside the house.

About an hour later, police took 50-year-old Robert Calhoun into protective custody without incident. He was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

There were no hostages and no one was injured.
