UPDATE: Warner Robins man arrested for fatal shooting of Shaquez Head

The shooting occurred at 5:43 p.m. March 28 in the 100 block of Buford Drive.

UPDATE (4/2/2025) The Warner Robins Police Department arrested 22-year-old Nicholas Jenkins in connection with the death of 21-year-old Shaquez Head.

According to a news release, the investigation revealed that Jenkins arrived at the scene with another individual. Upon arrival, Jenkins shot Head and fled the scene.

Jenkins was detained after the shooting. Head died from his injuries on April 1.

The other individual initially reported as being arrested was released after investigators determined he was present at the residence but had no involvement in or knowledge of the crime.

Jenkins is charged with homicide, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two men were arrested for aggravated assault after a Friday night shooting in Warner Robins, according to the Warner Robins Police Department.

The shooting occurred at 5:43 p.m. March 28 in the 100 block of Buford Drive. When officers arrived, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the head and witnesses at the scene.

The 20-year-old victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment and is listed in critical condition.

According to the news release, witnesses provided descriptions of the suspects, and shortly after the incident, one of the two suspects was apprehended. The second suspect was taken into custody later during the investigation.
