UPDATE: Two Suspected Gang Members Arrested, Gordon PD Still Looking for Two More Wanted for Brutal Beating
GORDON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two of the four men wanted for their alleged involvement in a brutal beating are behind bars and Gordon police is still looking for two more.
Investigator Andy Hester tells 41NBC says a tip from a citizen led to the arrest of Tonikeron Williams Monday evening. Officers caught Williams coming out of a window at his girlfriend’s house. He is now booked in the Wilkinson County LEC.
Hester says Jontavious Renfroe was arrested in Bibb County. According to Bibb LEC jail records, he was booked on July 11 around 2:45pm and he’s facing additional charges of giving false information and possession of marijuna.
Investigator Andy Hester says Malcom Daniels (top), Tonikeron Williams (second from top), Travis Veal (third from top), and Jontavious Renfroe (bottom) are facing aggravated battery and participation in criminal street gang activity charges.
Hester says the men are believed to be members of the gang known as “Group Development.”
On June 30th, Hester says 11 accused gang members kicked, stomped, and beat two men at the Prarie Summit Apartments. According to the police report, one victim was hit in the eye with brass knuckles. He needed plastic surgery. The other victim suffered from back and neck injuries. Both men are recovering.
Hester says seven men have been arrested on the same charges.
