UPDATE: Two Macon Teens Arrested in Firearms Robbery

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Police made two arrests in connection with last week’s gun store robbery.

According to a news release from MPD, 17-year-old Shamarko Newson and 19-year-old Joshua Logan are behind bars after officers received a tip from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The two suspects were arrested Saturday afternoon.

Officers spotted Newson and Logan near a residential neighborhood after the robbery.

Deputies charged Newson with several counts including first degree burglary and possesion of marijuana. Logan is also charged with first degree burglary.
