(UPDATE 10/30/2025) Two people have been arrested in connection with a death investigation on Soldad Court that took place on October 6, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
17-year-old Kameron Lamar Cherry and 19-year-old Quintin Terrence Moore Jr. have both been charged with murder. Both are currently being held without a bond.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a 16-year-old boy was found dead from a gunshot wound late Sunday night.
Deputies responded to a home on the 5000 block of Soldad Court just before midnight, where they discovered the teen lying unresponsive in a driveway. Emergency crews rushed to the scene and attempted to render aid, but the 16-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Richard Robertson.
Deputies later identified the teen killed as Cameron Williams.
Authorities say the victim’s next of kin has been notified. The case remains under investigation.
