UPDATE: Tractor trailer overturns in Bibb County, all lanes reopened

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- A tractor trailer flipped over under the I-16 bridge in Macon on Spring Street around 8:57 a.m. Thursday morning.

According to a Bibb County Sheriff’s office news release, Eric Smith of Sparta was making a left turn off the interstate exit when the load he was hauling shifted causing the trailer to hit another tractor trailer driven by Homer Wall of Eatonton.

No one was injured in the accident.

All lanes of Spring Street have been reopened.

The accident is still under investigation.
