UPDATE: Suspects arrested in Macon motel robbery

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The U.S. Marshal’s Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Bibb County sheriff’s deputies arrested two suspects wanted in connection to a Macon motel robbery that happened in June.

Authorities arrested 21-year-old Andre Poole and 20-year-old Arielle Poole, both of Macon, around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at a location in Bibb County. The sheriff’s office says a Crimestoppers tip helped lead to the arrest.

Both suspects are charged with aggravated batter, robbery, and probation violation. They are booked in the Bibb County jail and each have a bond set at $27,900.

The suspects were wanted in connection to the robbery that happened on June 19 at the Budgetel Inn & Suites on Holiday Inn Drive North. The manager told investigators two people came into the motel and hit him with a chair. They took money from the register and then ran away.

Shankeria Ray was also arrested and charged with aggravated battery and robbery on June 24.


MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies named two suspects for the June robbery and aggravated battery at the Budgetel Inn & Suites on Holiday Inn & Suites on June 9th.

Andre Poole, 21, and Arielle Poole, 20, have warrants for their arrests on the charges of aggravated battery and robbery. Deputies say these two people visit the Plant Street area often.

Shankeria Ray was arrested and charged with aggravated battery and robbery on June 24. She is being held in the Bibb County Jail with a $18,900 bond.
