UPDATE: Suspect arrested for Macon shooting
Rodney Roquemore Jr. turned himself into the sheriff’s office Monday morning.
He’s charged with obstruction and participating in criminal street gang activity.
Bibb deputies are still looking for Damian Fryer.
They said he was involved in the shooting.
It happened in August on Montpelier Avenue.
Fryer and Roquemore ran away from a car after firing shots from it and leading deputies on a chase.

The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects wanted in connection to a shooting that happened in August.
Investigators have arrest warrants out for Damian Shaquille Fryer and Rodney Jaumal Roquemore Jr.
The incident happened on August 25 on Montpelier Avenue. The sheriff’s office says shots were being fired from a blue Nissan Altima and several suspects were inside the vehicle. The suspects led deputies on a chase.
Investigators arrested 21-year-old Donte Duran Andrews and 25-year-old Dontavis Anquan Jackson. The sheriff’s office says Fryer and Roquemore ran away from the scene.
The suspects are wanted for multiple offenses.
