UPDATE: S&S Cafeteria Manager Shot during Robbery
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The hunt is on for the three suspects involved in shooting an S&S Cafeteria manager during an armed robbery.
Officers responded to the restaurant on Riverside Drive shortly after 10 p.m. on Friday. According to the Macon Police Department, three masked suspects in all black entered the restaurant, shot the manager and fled the scene. Judd Smith, the district manager, said locally-owned restaurant is stepping up security.
“Currently we had somebody weekly,three different days changing out,” he said, “but we’re gonna have
somebody here nightly.”
The group believed to have been driving an unknown black 4-door vehicle. The manager was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia and was treated for the wound.
