UPDATE: Shooting Leaves Macon Man Dead

Macon Police are investigating a murder that happened Thursday evening just before 9:30. Police identified the victim as 28 year old, Stephen Adropolis Jackson of Macon.

According to Bibb County Coroner, Leon Jones, Jackson was standing in the street next to a vehicle when the suspect came from behind and shot him multiple times.

Jones says the victim was prounounced dead on the scene around 9:45.
