UPDATE: Road closure on Twin Pines Drive due to damaged power lines
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- UPDATE: Georgia Power crews have repaired the utility poles.
Twin Pines Drive is completely open for traffic now.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies are working to rerout traffic.
Traffic has been rerouted on Twin Pines Drive Between Nottingham Drive and Briarcliff Road due to three damaged utility poles and power lines.
Georgia power is working on the scene to replace the poles and repair lines. The damage was caused by a fallen tree.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is urging all motorists to avoid this area.
