UPDATE: Missing Macon man found

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man who went missing on Sunday was found in Camden County Monday evening.

According to Lt. Randy Gonzalez with the Bibb Sheriff’s Office, a passerby saw 88-year-old James Faulkner driving his gold 2004 Lincoln Town Car erratically. He was found at a gas station.

He was checked by medical personnel. Faulkner was reported to be exhausted but okay. The authorities have contacted his family.

The sheriff’s office tells 41NBC Faulkner suffers from dementia.

Faulkner went missing from the north Macon area Sunday evening.


MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is searching for missing 88-year-old, James H. Faulkner from the Clairidge Court area.

Authorities say Faulkner left his home after 11:30 p.m. Sunday and hasn’t been seen since.

Faulkner’s family says he suffers from dementia.

Faulkner has mentioned Columbus over the past few weeks and may be headed to the city. He should be driving a 2004 gold Lincoln Town car with the tag number BJQ3581.

He was last seen wearing a gray sports jacket, a blue polo shirt and khaki pants.
