UPDATE: Missing Atlanta Toddler Found Safe
ATLANTA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The missing toddler out of Atlanta who was the subject of a missing child alert has been found safe.
Atlanta Police said in a statement shortly after 7 a.m. Friday that 2-year-old Guadalupe Aguayo was found near the intersection of the Downtown Connector and Interstate 20.
According to the Associated Press, the child’s father, Ramon Aguayo, had told police that he left Guadalupe with his roommate’s girlfriend. Police say that when the father and the roommate returned to the residence at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, the child and the girlfriend were not at the location. The roommate’s 1996 Ford Ranger was also missing from the location.
The Levi’s Call identfied 36-year-old Claudia Rodriguez who abducted Guadalupe.
Details about how the child was located were not immediately available.
