UPDATE: Man apprehended after fleeing accident in Monroe County

He is currently in custody at the Monroe County Jail.

MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who fled from an accident on Monday.

Deputies say the man that fled is a Hispanic male who was last seen wearing a red shirt, the color of his pants are unknown at this time. The suspect also has tattoos on his neck.

There is not a picture or name available of the man.

Deputies say the man was last seen in the Hwy 18 area near Camilla Drive (towards Station 14).
