UPDATE: Dive team finds body of missing three-year-old boy in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Divers with the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department discovered the body of three-year-old Dylan Mark Walsh right before 10 a.m. on Sunday.  

His body was found unresponsive and submerged in the lake near the Fish & Pig restaurant. He was pronounced dead by the coroner’s office. 

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating the boy’s death.

Bibb County sheriff’s investigators are looking for a three-year-old boy who was last seen at the dock area of the Fish & Pig restaurant on Mosley Dixon Road near Lake Tobesofkee on Saturday night.

Dylan Mark Walsh went missing while looking at boats with his father. 

A news release from the sheriff’s office says Dylan’s father and stepmother say Dylan is autistic, but will respond to verbal and physical contact. 

He has black curly hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark blue polo shirt with light blue striped shorts and navy blue converse shoes with velcro straps.

Anyone who has a boat near the Fish & Pig restaurant or went to the restaurant on Saturday is asked to check and see if he is hiding on or in them.
