UPDATE: City of Perry postpones International Festival
The Perry International Festival is rescheduled for March 2025.
UPDATE (9/25) The City of Perry has postponed the International Festival due to the expected impact of Hurricane Helene.
The city released the following statement:
“It is with great regret that we announce the cancellation of the award-winning Perry International Festival set for this Saturday due to the expected impact of Hurricane Helene. This festival is a large event with many moving parts, including set-up the day prior to the event and performers traveling from various parts of the country. With public safety as our top priority, it’s crucial that our resources be focused on any clean-up efforts and support following the storm. We remain committed to delivering the best possible festival experience for this award-winning event, and we look forward to rescheduling the Perry International Festival for March 2025. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of the Perry International Festival.”

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The City of Perry is hosting the 4th Annual Perry International Festival.
City of Perry Communications Director, Tabitha Clark, says the event is free and open to the public. Clark says the City of Perry hopes to share different cultures with the Middle Georgia community.
The event is September 28 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Historic Downtown Perry. There will be live music, interactive performances, food, and shopping.
There will be more than 25 countries represented at the International Festival.
Clark says the city hopes to promote the preservation of heritage and tradition through cultural education and entertainment.
