UPDATE: 2 Boys in Crawford County Found

Two Crawford County children who went missing nearly this afternoon are back at home.

8 year old Jeffrey Hayes and 4 year old Jagger Hayes wandered off while playing in their yard on Sandy Point Road.

A Georgia State Patrol helicopter and at least half a dozen other agencies were on the scene since they were reported missing around 1:30pm.

Just before 6pm, the boys were found safe.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s office tells 41 NBC News, the boys had gone into an unlocked home on Creekview Drive, about a mile away.

No one was there at the time, but when the homeowners arrived, they found the boys inside playing.

No charges will be filed in the incident.
