Macon students get sneak peek of UniverSoul Circus
Performers visited James H. Porter Elementary School to showcase acts ahead of the circus’ Atlanta run.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The UniverSoul Circus made a stop in Macon Tuesday, bringing a sneak peek performance to after-school students at James H. Porter Elementary School.
The circus, founded in 1994, features performers from around the world with acts ranging from dancing to roller skating. Ringmaster Zakita Edinborough said the visit was about giving back to the community and showcasing what the show has to offer.
“Right now, we are here doing a sneak peek for the kids,” she said. “Trying to give back, to showcase diversity, and to showcase what we have to offer under the big top. The UniverSoul is not just a circus for kids, it’s for all ages and generations. So if you come, you can be a kid, you can be the oldest person in the room. You’re gonna have a time.”
The full circus is happening in Atlanta in the old Turner Field grey lot through June 14. Click here for tickets.
