UDATE: Middle Georgia School Closings

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The following school districts have announced school closings for this week:

• Baldwin – Closed for students and staff on Wednesday. Early dismissal Tuesday for students and staff. 
• Bibb County – Closed Tuesday and Wednesday for students. Staff will report Tuesday morning, dismissal time will be based on weather conditions. Staff will not report to work Wednesday.
• Bleckley County – Closed Tuesday and Wednesday for students. Staff reports Tuesday. Staff may report Wednesday depending on the weather.
• Crawford County – School is open Tuesday for students and staff. Schools will release two hours early on Tuesday. No school for students and staff on Wednesday.
• Dodge County – Closed Tuesday and Wednesday for students. Staff will report to work at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Staff may report on Wednesday depending on weather.
  Students no school on Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Dooly – School open for students and staff Tuesday and Wednesday, but that could change depending on the weather. All after school activites cancelled for both days.
• Dublin – Closed Tuesday and Wednesday for students. Staff will report at 8am Tuesday and leave depending on the weather. No school for staff on Wednesday.
• Hancock – Schools will be dismissed at 12 p.m. on Tuesday. Schools are closed for students and staff on Wednesday.
• Houston County – School closed Tuesday for students and staff. School closed Wednesday for students and staff.
• Jasper – Jasper County Public Schools will dismiss early on Tuesday beginning at noon at Jasper County Primary School. For more information on early release schedules, check the individual school websites.
• Johnson – Closed for students Tuesday and Wednesday. Staff reports at normal time on Tuesday. School may be cancelled for staff depending on the weather.
• Jones – School is closed for students on Tuesday and Wednesday. Staff will report at their regular time on Tuesday. Decision will be made about Wednesday for staff depending on the weather.
• Laurens County – Closed Tuesday and Wednesday for students. Staff reports on Tuesday. Staff may report on Wednesday depending on the weather.
• Macon – School open Tuesday for students and staff. Wednesday will depend on weather conditions.
• Monroe County – Closed Tuesday for students and staff. A decision about Wednesday will be made on Tuesday.
• Peach – Closed for students Tuesday and Wednesday. All school activities cancelled. Staff will report on Tuesday at normal time. Wednesday staff will not report to work. Board study session set for Tuesday is rescheduled for Thursday night at the same time.
• Pulaski County – Closed Tuesday and Wednesday for students. Staff will report at 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Staff may report on Wednesday depending on the weather.
• Taylor County – Closed Tuesday and Wednesday for students and staff.
• Telfair County – Early dismissal Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. for students and staff. School is closed on Wednesday for students and staff.
• Treutlen – Early dismissal for students and staff at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. School is cancelled for students on Wednesday, staff arrival will depend on weather conditions.
• Twiggs County – Students will leave early Tuesday at 1 p.m. Staff will leave at 2 p.m. All games are cancelled Tuesday. Staff will make a decision about Wednesday on Tuesday.
• Washington County – Closed Tuesday and Wednesday for students and staff.
• Wheeler County – Early dismissal at 1 p.m, for students and staff on Tuesday. School closed on for students and staff on Wednesday.
• Wilcox County – School closed for students Tuesday and Wednesday. Staff should report at normal time on Tuesday. School is closed for staff on Wednesday.
• Wilkinson County – Early dismissal Tuesday at 1 p.m. School closed on Wednesday for students and staff.

Private School/Daycare Closings

• Annette’s Learning Center – Closed on Tuesday for students and staff.
• Bethany Christian Academy – Closed on Tuesday for students and staff.
• Covenant Academy – Closed Tuesday and Wednesday for students and staff.
• First Presbyterian Day School – Closed Tuesday and Wednesday for students and staff.
• Middle Georgia Christian School – Closed on Tuesday for students and staff. School may be open Wednesday depending on the weather.
• Mount De Sales Academy – Closed Tuesday and Wednesday for students and staff.
• Sacred Heart Academy – Closed Tuesday for students and staff.
• St. Joseph’s Catholic School – Closed Tuesday and Wednesday for students and staff.
• Special Blessings Learning Center – Closing at noon on Tuesday.
• Stratford Academy – Closed Tuesday for students on Tuesday and Wednesday. Faculty and staff will report at their normal times on Tuesday, and they’re off on Wednesday.
• Tatnall Square Academy – Elementary students and staff are dismissed at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Middle and high school students and staff are dismissed at 12 p.m. on Tuesday. All evening events are cancelled. Daycare is open until 2 p.m.
• Warner Robins Montessori Academy – Closing at noon on Tuesday.
• Westfield – Closed Tuesday for students and staff. School may be open Wednesday depending on the weather.

All Middle Georga State College campuses will close at noon Tuesday and remain closed Wednesday.

Georgia College’s campuses in Milledgeville, the Macon Center, and the Robins Center at Robins Air Force Base will close Tuesday morning at 11:30. A decision regarding Wednesday’s schedule will be made and announced prior to commuting time Wednesday morning.

Fort Valley State University campus locations will close at noon Tuesday and remain closed on Wednesday.
