U.S. Expels Russian Diplomats

(NBC News) The United States is standing with more than a dozen other countries against Russia, ordering 60 Russian diplomats and intelligence officers off of American soil.

The Russian diplomats and spies were expelled from the U.S., and its Seattle consulate was ordered closed.

The move is an act of international solidarity, in response to the chemical attack of a former Russian spy in the United Kingdom.

Russia’s U.S. ambassador says it cuts what little diplomacy remains been the two countries.

The move also comes as the White House is weathering the latest on the Stormy Daniels controversy.

The adult film star spoke to 60 Minutes about her alleged affair with Donald Trump and said she was threatened by a man who approached her in a parking lot seven years ago.

The White House again denied the alleged affair even happened.

Daniels said she signed documents saying the affair did not happen because she felt pressured to do so, she’s saying now that those documents were a lie.
