Two women shot at Macon house party

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two people were shot at a Macon house party.
        The incident happened Saturday, around 2 a.m., in the 1500 block of Marigold Avenue, according to a Bibb County Sheriff news release.
        “When deputies arrived they found a 36-year-old female and a 40-year-old female in front of a house,” continued the release. “Both victims had been shot. “
Reportedly, both women were at the party when a fight broke out. The fight happened outside the house. When the women heard gunshots, they tried to run from the area. But were unable to escape the bullets, according to the release.
        “We have not made an arrest, yet” said Bibb County Sheriff’s Lt. Sean DeFoe.
 They were taken to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries. They were reportedly alert and in stable condition.
