Two teens shot in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after two teens were shot late Friday night.

Lt. Sean DeFoe with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office tells us 17-year-old Kenyatta Jones was shot in his stomach and 18-year-old Ladarius Washington was shot in the back of his left leg.

DeFoe says the shooting happened off Lawton Avenue just before 10 p.m. Friday.

Both victims are in stable condition.

DeFoe says investigators are processing evidence and it is still early in their investigation.
