Two Ryan’s Restaurants Closed Due to Bankruptcy

Two middle Georgia Ryan’s Restaurants have officially closed their doors, due to poor financial performance.

The Ryan’s on Presidential Parkway in Macon, and the Warner Robins location on Watson Boulevard will no longer serve customers in middle Georgia.

In a news release from Buffet Inc., the company which owns Ryan’s Restaurants, says the filing for Chapter 11, along with the 81 store closures nationwide, will eliminate “virtually all of the company’s approximately $245 million of outstanding debt.”

Each restaurant employed between 35 and 50 people.
