Two people in custody after vehicle of missing man is found
Garland Warren is still missing and was last seen on June 10.

SPALDING COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two people are in custody and have been charged with theft after Garland Warren‘s vehicle was found.
According to the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office, 62-year-old Robert Earnest Peppers and 56-year-old Kelly Gail Osborn have been arrested.
The Spalding County Deputies received a Flock camera notification involving a missing person from Laurens County on June 21. After the notification, a Spalding County Deputy located the vehicle belonging to Garland Warren. The vehicle was parked at the Dollar General Store located at 3430 Jackson Road.
Investigators spoke with Peppers and Osborn at their residence. Peppers admitted to driving Warren’s vehicle and parking it behind the Dollar General. Osborn admitted she followed Peppers and picked him up after the vehicle was dropped off.
Peppers and Osborn were taken to the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office to be interviewed and a search warrant was issued for their residence.
During the search, investigators discovered mail belonging to Warren and items from Warren’s vehicle were recovered.
Peppers and Osborn are being questioned about their involvement with Warren and have been charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
“We are actively working this case, still gathering evidence, following up on leads, communicating with Sheriff Dean and his agency, and conducting interviews. My Investigators are working in partnership with Sheriff Dean and his Investigators,” says Sheriff Darrell Dix. “All have worked almost non-stop since the Flock alert. My Uniform Patrol Deputies have even been out on foot day and night searching and working in support of Criminal Investigators. Our focus is on finding Mr. Warren.”
