Two Men Shot at Residence in Warner Robins

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two men are recovering after a shooting incident in Warner Robins that happened Tuesday night.

Warner Robins Police responded to the call on Ignico Drive just before 7 P.M.

According to a news release, 20 year old Osman Nyemah was released from the Medical Center of Central Georgia after being treated for a gunshot wound in his hip.

A second 911 call was made in reference to a gunshot wound on Napier Avenue around 7:30 P.M. Upon arrival, Warner Robins police discovered 44 year old Melvin Cody with a gunshot wound to the chest. He’s listed in stable condition at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

Tabitha Pugh, with the Warner Robins Police, confirmed that the two men shot each other at the Ignico Drive residence.

No charges have been filed in this incident.

The Houston County Sheriff’s office is working with the Warner Robins Police Department as this investigation is still ongoing.
