Two men rob Macon convenience store
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two men robbed the clerk of a Macon convenience store with gun just before 1 a.m. Thursday.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says they found 41-year-old Brij Patel outside of the L&C Convenience Store on Hillcrest Boulevard.
They pointed a gun at him and demanded his cash and cell phone.
The men struggled, and Patel was shot in his leg.
Then, the robbers went into the store and stole more money from the register.
The suspects ran away toward Napier Avenue.
Patel went to Medical Center, Navicent Health and is in stable condition.
One suspect was wearing what appeared to be a black hoodie and black pants.
The second suspect was wearing a black shirt and red shorts.
Both were around 5’8 and had a medium build.
